Some nights I lay me down to sleep … Believing I will dream so sweet … Demons come with strangleholds … turns my blood from warm to cold … Some they come and jump my back … They squeeze my heart until it turns black …

Some nights I lay me down to sleep … Out of my head, my soul starts to seep … Dark ones come to gather me … “Let’s hang him up at the nearest tree”… Put The knife right to his throat … slit him like a sacrificial goat …

Sometimes I dream way underneath … And dash my soul on Satan’s reef … I usually get a serious wound … Usually scream without a sound … Sometimes he’s dark, right front of me … Fingers my eyes so I can’t see …
