Beholding Eyes

Lord, I’m seeing with a beholding eye, yielding to your tug at my heart, reminding me to‘ be still and know that you’re God’.

Seems most of my efforts just fall in vain, I find peace in The Wonder of nature, spying birds and squirrels through my backyard window pane.

The desire of my heart is to be a better man, learn to extend a hand, to those that are far different than me… understanding…

That you chose and loved me first, accepted me ‘warts n’ all’, I stand at the door of renewal, to the foot of the cross I crawl

Just one drop of your blood and I’m free.
