One Foot In

My hand upon the veil ( to pull it back) a foot entering a door ( to get inside) this heart is no longer beating, my toes land eternal shores.

I’ve danced underneath the willow, inhaled the pure October Pine, felt the blood coursing through my veins, held the best of lovers (Mizuho) just in time.

Perhaps a greatest pleasure, found in my dog’s walking, or talking to a stranger, strangely, the devil my soul, always stalking.

Yeah, I know what you mean, we’ve all got ‘ONE FOOT IN’ heaven or hell”.
