Starting about mid way of the speech…
The world will little note, nor long remember, what we say here; but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us, the living, rather to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion; that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people, shall not perish from the earth… written around 1863 but sounds like today.. where have you gone Abraham Lincoln? our nation turns its lonely eyes to you..
[ Above is the last half of the Gettysburg Address]… fromthe great Abraham Lincoln….Comments: It can be clearly understood that anyone of a Communist or Radical Jihadist mindset, would not want their enemies to be educated in the basic foundation and history of their great country, in this case the citizens/students of these United States… we kicked God out of the schools in the 60s ( who do you think may I ask replaced God?) we legalized abortion in the 70s, (60 million and counting) our hair was too long in the 80s… we had Pearl Jam in the 90s…. rap music is still with us… now we’re living with the results of the above actions and half of our Congress and part of our Senate trying to destroy the very foundation of this country, so as some of us look in the mirror… we see who is responsible… us… we need repentance, revival & restoration… Sincerely, Frank Payton…. visit me at my blog…littleraventhepoet.blog
