Right at the start let us establish that I am not a date setter, nor should anyone else be concerning the exact time of our Lord’s return… as scripture states, only God the Father knows the exact hour….so…
Having said that, we should be about the business of interpreting through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Bible which is God breathed… inerrant & and perfect… we must rise above the traditions of men.
This is a study with Amir Tsarfati… or actually, a summary of my study with him…
This is a specific message for ‘OUR’ Generation… the Generation of the Fig Tree….now…. the fig tree is a symbol for the nation of Israel.
We must study The Olivet Discourse… we must have a deep examination of Matthew 24: 4-31.. which involves the ‘future’ of Israel…. then there is a pause in chapter 24, and we pick up with versus 32– 51 which involves the future of the ‘church’… we must not get the two confused.
Matthew 24 is a parable, a parable is a picture of a ‘real thing’… at this point we must disconnect from traditions and reset our brains… make no mistake Jerusalem was the capital of Israel 3000 years ago during David’s time… and Jerusalem was the capital Israel two thousand years ago during Jesus’ time…. it is the capital today.
It is an absolute pleasure and wonder for me to agree with Amir Tsarfati that we are not only living in the last days, but we are living in the last hour.. “which generation was Christ talking about that shall not pass away until all of these things happen?” (1 Thessalonians 13-18)…
Israel was born some 70 years ago 1947, 1948… the generation that sees this re-birth of the nation of Israel ‘shall not pass away’ until all scripture is fulfilled… now what about discernment as to some kind of timeline, where are we now?…Moses taught that a generations ‘window’ is between 70 and 80 years…. there are other indications that a generation can be 40 years, 70 years, or a hundred and twenty years…so… Israel was born in 1948… add 70 years we come to 2018… that date has obviously passed…add 80 years to 1948, and we come to 2028… I have also added a hundred and twenty years to 1948 and we come to 2068… so the question remains as to when our Lord will return… a main body of reputable scholars think that the 70 to 80-year window is appropriate, so there’s a possibility, again I say possibility, it could be between now and 2028 or farther out… 2068 or beyond… looking at the signs of the times, the social unrest, the government confusion, the spirit of lawlessness, the spirit of Antichrist, the desire for the One World Government to be ushered in, I think it’s easy to see and say that we are very close, possibly in the last hour, until the end of this age… we are more than likely in the era of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, which would usher in the tribulation period… which would lead to the appearance of Antichrist, and The Seven Year Deal with Israel, which would be broken at the halfway point, then the wars begin and the destruction of humanity is only stopped by the second coming of Jesus Christ… then we enter the thousand year reign of Christ which is called the Millenium…. so it’s time to decide friends, who to serve…the one true God or the false god which is Satan… it all began in the Garden of Eden and possibly before, at the rebellion of Revelation 12… time to seek God folks… that is if you’re interested in God… but remember this,God will either be your advocate or your judge, a soothing warm fire, or a consuming wildfire… hate to sound preachy, but now is not the time for a watered-down gospel….
