Does the Bible mention an age of accountability in Scripture?…. the short answer is probably… no.

However Isaiah 7:15 and 16… are often used, but the scripture isn’t really clear or could be interpreted wrong very easily…

Isaiah 7:15-16… this is a reference to Immanuel or (Christ with us)… “Curds and honey He shall eat, that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her Kings”…

So unless anyone can show otherwise, it seems to me that the age of accountability is not specific…. because I believe God… in His wisdom, new that the different cultures, & the different maturation levels of children prevented Him from setting a specific age…. however the Jewish people celebrate Bar Mitzvah’s for their sons at age 12, I think it is…. having said that only God knows when any person has made a decision to reject Him…. so maybe we should leave it at that…. I believe we can say that all infants and children under 12  would probably automatically go to heaven…. again only God knows the maturity level of anyone (child or adult)…. let’s leave it in God’s capable hands…. visit my blog……………Sincerely, Frank Payton.
