AS I LIE DOWN IN DEATH

AS I lie down in death, perfect calm and stillness arrive, and at last I rest … the desperate havoc of my misunderstood earthly purpose vanishes like a vapor, never to haunt me again …

Blood stops coursing through thankful arteries, veins, and vessels … eyes exhausted from both joy and loss … no longer behold anything in the sunlight … but observe with delight a newfound spiritual realm, upon death’s peaceful shores …

Seems peace comes to those weary souls, that stirred and stumbled earnestly, seeking to be of Godly enlightened mind, but never could overcome themselves … the peace of death releases them to glorious eternal purpose and fulfillment, as they gaze into the fiery but soothing stare of their creator …
