For Mizuho, Ari’el and Lauren.
Please explore some things revealed to me in “asking God for wisdom.”
Seek and ye shall find. Matthew 7:7. Let’s start with a supposition: There have been two floods, and that both of these floods can be supported by scripture.
Additionally, I would like to add at this point, that I am standing on the shoulders of some great men. One of them is the great E.W. Bullinger, author of the very great work, The Companion Bible, originally published in 1922. This work has an accompanying appendix, which in itself, I consider to be a Biblical Holy Spirit education and more.
Now, I want to make a comment right out of the gate. Readers ( including Ari’el and Lauren) of this post will have to have “spiritual eyes and ears” to understand. If you try to grasp this in your natural mind you plainly will not get it. I highly recommend that you ask the Holy Spirit of God to guide you in this study. STOP! Note: ( After reviewing this post and publishing), I realized the “impersonal nature” of this writing that jumped out at me and I want to take this time to clarify a few things. To Ari’el and Lauren especially. Please follow my train of thought. I could have said to my children and to all, things like, “Isn’t life grand”, “Are not our elected Government officials and the state of affairs in Washington DC, just altogether wonderful.” I could have sugar coated this post with a bunch of niceties giving high praise for “human nature” having reached higher levels of sanity. If I did this I would be a big fat liar. Yes there are some wonderful things, yet there are some very troubling things prophesied and I don’t want either of you, or anyone that I know, to be unaware and unprepared. So that’s my explanation of giving a title as I did, “A Father To His Son and Daughter,”… Followed by quickly jumping into a deep study of God’s word. I guess my sense of urgency in relaying the information of this post was pressing me. And I want my children and friends to have a heightened awareness of the deception that is going on in the world and that very few human beings can be trusted. Also I felt it necessary to talk about the beginnings of humanities struggles to better understand the troubled ending that is fast approaching. In closing, I wish I would have had the information that is being provided here when I was a young man, it might have helped me through some troubles. So I have a very specific design in addressing my children and wife this way. Now, please proceed. As I mention later, having an understanding of beginnings, prepares us to understand the end. There will be scoffers and naysayers to what I am talking about here in this writing. For the most part, if ‘they’ don’t have anything productive to say, or can add clarification as to error, don’t pay any attention to them. A word of advice be careful of wolves in sheep’s clothing
Outline of Scriptures studied: Genesis 1: 1-2. Isaiah 45:18. John 1. 2nd Peter 3:5. Jeremiah 4:22. Proverbs 8-22 and on.
I find this to be most interesting and revealing about the subject of “wisdom”, found in Proverbs 8 beginning in verse 22. (Wisdom speaking) … The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there. When he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: When he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea His decree, That the water should not pass his commandment: When He appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: And I was daily His delight, Rejoicing always before Him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of His earth; And my delights were with the sons of men … (Jumping to verse 34)… Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the post of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favour of the Lord. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth with his own soul: All they that hate me love death … ( The above my friends is quite possibly the most beautiful words I’ve ever read.) Go back and read verses 32 and 33.
Continuing: The gospel of John 1: 1-5 ... In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. Comments: I’ve always loved the reference to one of God’s names as being THE WORD. I think with the complacency that is inherent in a lot of human beings, it’s easy to forget or to even know that the “Word of God is alive and that the Word is actually God breathed.” It’s Holy, There is nothing like it.
Shifting gears: Genesis 1: 1- 2. This is very interesting yet controversial. (Revelation knowledge is always controversial, we must put aside the “traditions of men.”) I will be adding 2 Peter 3 5- 7 to continue our talk about there being two floods and how scripture supports it. Ok … “Now the pieces of the puzzle:) Genesis 1:1… In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Verse 2, And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. So, as we look at Isaiah 45:18, we have to ask ourselves a couple of questions. Would God create something that was a mess? Is it possible that some 50,000 years ( or quite frankly some unknown number of years) took place, in what was the first earth age, Genesis 1:1? … We don’t know how much time had passed before Genesis 1:2. But as you will see in *2 Peter 3: 5-7, ( *corrected from original publishing) it seems there was a flood that was quite a bit different from the flood of Noah’s time, just look at the words, it’s right there. Notice, there is no mention of people surviving as there was in Noah’s flood. There are no Doves or Ravens sent out to see if the flood had subsided. Observe: Isaiah 45:18 … For thus saith the Lord That created the heavens; God Himself That formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, *”He created it not in vain.” He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord, and there is none else. Comment: Well, well, well, Genesis 1: 2 clearly says that The earth was without form and void. ( Can we see how Genesis 1:2 and Isaiah 45:18 do not jive up?
Here is a key to the puzzle: Genesis 1 verse 2, Scripture reads … And the Earth “was” without form and void. This is a bad translation from the Hebrew, the word can be translated “And the earth “became” without form and void. So somebody must be asking by now, “What happened to the earth.” Look at Revelation 12, there was a rebellion in heaven ( one third of the angels followed Satan) which came down-to-earth. There was a lot of destruction. Also read Jude 1: 6 about angels leaving their natural abode in heaven. In New Mexico there are cast footprints (in museums) of humans, that scientists have confirmed to be around 50,000 years old, these are from the first earth age.
Further Scripture that supports first earth age. Jeremiah 4:22. For my people is foolish, they have not known me ; they are “sottish” (stupid) children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. I beheld the earth, and lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and lo they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broke down at the presence of the Lord, and by His fierce anger. For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate, yet will I not make a full end. Continue reading with verse 28. ( Does this account sound like Noah’s flood?
Further evidence already mentioned: 2 Peter 3: 5-7.( Go back and read verses 1 through 4 later.) Vs 5-7 For they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water: perished. But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store reserved under fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. In my studies it seems clear that there have been two floods, one in the first earth age and one in the second age, which is the age we currently live in, beginning around 4003 B.C. ( Noah’s flood.)
So why pray tell is all of this so important? I would hope that it would be obvious that if we don’t understand the beginning, how on earth are we going to understand the end? … And using the words, The End, I mean the end of this second earth age. To further understand what is coming please study, The Parable of the Fig Tree, (Matthew 24 ) also, Daniel’s 70th Week, studying these, will lead you to other studies, hopefully. Comments added after initial publication. I leave this effort for my wife Mizuho, my son Ari’el, my daughter Lauren. My original thinking and writing this post was, that I should leave something for my family; in case the Lord calls me home and I don’t have time to talk to all of you. I’m not trying to send a subliminal message, as I am not planning on leaving anytime soon ( going the way of the earth that is) but there are no guarantees. To members of the Payton family, I have been in a writing frenzy for some 3 and a 1/2 years. I found that I needed to get away from most everyone and most everything, so that I could write about most everyone and most everything. I don’t think there’s any denying by anyone that I have always been the black sheep of the family, partly by own invention, and partly by events which have transpired in the last five years or so; Some circumstances and events with which I carry bitterness that have tentacles that go back decades. Karl H. I don’t know what to say to you. I understand why you must feel like you do. Seems like we could have achieved some kind of reconciliation. It is what it is. Peace, to Perry, Terry, Rhonda, Brian, and all of your families. Lauren, my sweet daughter we still have hope. Joey, you just pissed me off and rubbed me the wrong way and I really wasn’t in the mood for it, I guess I’m over It now.
