A study in Hebrews 1:1-4.

But first, a message to friends, both old and new. You know, as human beings we go through stages in our lives, sometimes we are most excellent and sometimes we are not so excellent, especially in the life of a Christian such as myself. I am not an excuse maker, I am an extreme realist, as a poet I’m a dreamer. To some of you, perhaps many of you, especially those that knew me in Saint Petersburg Florida, from around 1995 to 2003. I must tell you this, was a time of “backsliding” and searching for myself. Although I never lost my “position” in Christ and my relationship with him, I did lose my fellowship, because I was running after the flesh. Many years since those times, I have come to my senses and answered the call once again to what God would have me say about life, my experiences, and what I’ve learned from them. I am sure there are those out there that have had a more dedicated, more flawless walk than mine has been, (who might be more desirable to speak for God.) Recently in the last 7 years, I have dwelt in the Appalachian mountains with my Japanese wife Mizuho, and my son Ari’el. I am estranged from most of my family, my mom and dad years dead, brothers and sisters alienated. I am also distanced from my sibling’s offspring which is regretful. I found that I needed to get away and find my deeper self, to get the writing done that I needed to express. Over the last 4 years, I have written approximately eight to nine hundred posts. ( Bring in my total to almost 1500 pieces of work, this is my life work and message) I found a good following, a niche of 5000 or so followers on Twitter, But I’ve been banned permanently because of my conservative voice from Twitter twice now, and I’m a better man for it. Because I don’t need Twitter and their virtual reality, I’m too busy living in reality. I understand the good things about virtual reality, and I also understand the bad things about it, I’m an old schooler, so I have a little bit different opinion and outlook than younger people.

So I wrote this message to hopefully clarify my situation. Here’s one thing I want you to know, that God has always had to work with the imperfect from Moses on down. I certainly have followed that tradition because I am the most imperfect. The thing that I would have you know about me is, that “I’m available and willing towards God”, and “this being available”, probably separates me from others a little bit. I am a perfect example of God using the imperfect. Now let’s stidy.

Hebrews 1:4 — In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

The Son, Superior to Angels.

For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father”

Or again, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son

And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits and his servants flames of fire.”

But about the Son, he says, “Your throne O God, will last forever and ever, a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.

He also says, “In The beginning Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment, they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end”… Isn’t this beautiful? I always picture God rolling the universe up like a robe, and am totally astounded. Perhaps God is more wonderful than we could ever imagine.

To which of the angels did God ever say, ” Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet. “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Well, friends, I hope and pray that you can see the beauty of God’s word. In my opinion, no man can write like this, and I’ve done my share of reading. If you find yourself unmoved, bow your head and pray to God, to give you faith, “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God”. Only the Holy Spirit can move you, mere mortal men’s words can do little to nothing. Even if a seed is planted, which is the first stage of salvation, this is the work of the Holy Spirit. Then someone comes to water the seed, and someone else comes for the harvest. And then on some occasions it is all accomplished at once, but it is all the Holy Spirit … I once heard a beautiful story about what a gentleman the Holy Spirit is, and it went something like this — The Holy Spirit is like a kind gentleman coming up beside you in your life and saying, “Hi what are you doing, can I help you? … This type of beauty is what got me saved in the first place, I hope it helps you. This is the beautiful God that I want to know and spend eternity with. Frankie The Earthman.
