Just resting here, thinking about the attributes of God. I am sure that he is more magnificent, wonderful, and loving than we mere mortals could ever comprehend. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying God is all love, love, love 💕. For lack of a better way of saying it, I will say that God has at least two sides. One is a consuming fire, that is evident in a lot of stories of the Bible. This consuming fire revolves around disobedience. I have learned that the Holy Spirit is either a warming fire to those that believe, or a consuming fire to those that don’t. Don’t believe or trust me, read it for yourself in God’s word. These are his rules not mine. I just try to line up with them. I hope that you can relate to this when I say, that the biggest challenge I have is overcoming myself.
Now, I find it simply fascinating that God has known and foreknown every person that has ever lived. (Reference Jeremiah.) God told Jeremiah that he knew him before he made him in his mother’s womb, and I am not quite sure we can ever totally understand what this really means. Yet it is fascinating.
