THOUGHT PROCESSES

I’m trying to get my thought processes, my mind around the question of where did God come from? I am going to talk about it without using any commentary by others. I will reference Revelation 1: 8 — “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God,”I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come”– the Almighty one. How do we get our minds around this? … How do we understand with our limited, finite, time, space, and matter-oriented flesh, blood, and bone configuration? It is a hard nut to crack for us humans who are bound by beginnings, endings, and cycles of life. IMHO.

Moving on. Part of our being made ” in the image of God”, is our God-given abilities to create. Our situation is to create out of already existing materials available on earth, created by God for Him and us. According to Scripture, God created EVERYTHING “EX NIHILO” — OUT OF NOTHING. HE SPOKE THE UNIVERSE INTO EXISTENCE BY THE POWER OF HIS WORD. How do we get our minds around that? IMHO, we don’t, not in this life, perhaps in our resurrection life.
