Our current bodies are burdened with so many limitations, then death. So what will our resurrection bodies be like? In the twinkling of an eye, in a moment, in a flash, our bodies will be changed, the perishable will be raised imperishable, at the last trump. 1 Corinthians 15: 52.
Read Luke 24, Jesus on the road to Emmaus, men saw him and recognized him. Remember Jesus didn’t leave a body in the tomb. His earthly body was transformed from a lowly state to a glorious one. The Apostle Paul tells us “our” bodies will be canged also. This can be life-changing news, and fill us with hope.
Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15: 42-49, just as we have born the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.Yippee!
So either before, in the middle of, or after the tribulation, depending on your interpretation of scripture regarding the rapture; believers will be changed, and it will be far better than being “beamed up by Scotty.”
John 3:2b —When he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. Friends, I don’t know what you see or believe is going on in this world, but I will be glad to leave this mess behind, once I have accomplished what God has sent me here to do. We will be the masters of our new bodies like Jesus mastered his. Our new bodies like Jesus will completely obey our will. There will be no more boundaries. Like Jesus, we can be where we wish when we wish, perhaps at the speed of light. A bit of a mystery is that we will have physical bodies but quite different. We will still have a body with which we can celebrate. Jesus still had flesh. ( yes, flesh and blood cannot enter heaven, but we will have some type of body) I believe Jesus proved that the physical body can still enjoy the physical life. ( Remember, there will be a wedding feast in heaven.) One thing is for sure friends when Jesus returns, He will transform us and we will stand “justified and pure before the father.” In this crazy world, who can you trust? … Trust the one that made you, Jeshua. His light is the light of life that shines in all men. What other god makes these claims and makes them so personal, assuring them with his very lifeblood? What other “would-be god” overcame death?
