I used to think that dying by guillotine would be pretty scary. I have long since changed my mind about that way of dying. Guillotine death would be quick and most likely, relatively painless. An almost unimaginable situation could occur if the guillotine blade was really dull and the hooded man had to drop it on me several times. There could be an unknown amount of time after decapitation when your head was rolling around on the ground or even staring up out of a basket, which could be horrifying I guess, (sick smirk) … Having said that, I would not like to be “horse-drawn and quartered.” Being drawn and quartered would be a nightmare.
