Hebrews 12:2 — LOOKNG UNTO JESUS the author and finisher of our faith : who for the joy set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Comments: What is amazing to me about this verse is that Jesus left his position in heaven. I am reminded of the scripture that says, “there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.” Hebrews 9: 22. Remember life is in the blood. Imagine how much God The Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit loved the created enough to send Jesus to the earth, to die a horrible death on the cross, so that we could have eternal life … Who do you say Jesus is?
