DISINHERITED NATIONS

Join my deep study. Have you thought of the uniqueness of Israel as a nation? Why is she hated so much? Why do most other nations rage against her? Why the slaughter of millions of Jews during World War 2?

Why in Luke 23:28 (did Jesus on His walk to be crucified) say to the daughters of Jerusalem: “Do not weep for me, weep for yourselves and your children”? What did He know that they did not know about the future?

Let’s look at three key events in the Old Testament that have had a determining impact through history, even up until now, and will yet impact our futures. Genesis 3 — (The Fall Of Mankind) Genesis 6:1- 4 ( The Sons Of God mating with The Daughters Of Men ) & Genesis 11: 1- 9 ( The Tower of Babel.)

Most should be familiar with Genesis 3’s account of ‘The Fall of Man’. Most might not be so familiar with who ‘The Sons of God’ were in Genesis 6: 1- 4. For a deep scholarly look at who The Sons Of God was, refer to Michael Heiser’s most excellent study of the controversy in his book The Unseen Realm, Chapter 13, The Bad Seed.

This post and study will mainly concern The Tower Of Babel, the confusing of languages by YAHWEH, and the consequential disinheriting of all nations, except Israel, (God’s inheritance.)

Read for yourself Genesis 11: 1-9. I will touch on the main points to keep the length of this post down. You must read it in it’s entirety for a deeper understanding.

Back then, the whole Earth had one language. As people migrated from the East they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. They said to each other, “Come let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly.” “Come let us build ourselves a city and a tower whose top reaches to the heavens. ( A Ziggurat ) They wanted to make a name for themselves, they feared being scattered over the face of the whole earth. Study just what a Ziggurat is.

Yahweh came down from Heaven to see the city and the tower that humankind was building. Yahweh said, ” Behold they are one people with one language and this is only the beginning of what they will do. Come Let *’us‘ ( *who is us? … Study Psalm 82 (ESV) for the plural meaning of ‘elohim‘ in verse 1, (God does have a council of lower elohim.) A Study in Hebrew will show the elohim mentioned are not earthly judges, as is commonly taught) Be careful in the interpretation of Psalm 82,(ESV), correct interpretation can be found in the Jewish Hebrew supernatural context.

So Yahweh scattered the people across the land while confusing their languages. Thus the name, The Tower of Babel.

So it’s at this point that most Bible readers presume there’s nothing more to think about. That’s because other Old Testament passages that speak of this event tend to be omitted from the discussion. What is most important is Deuteronomy 32:8-9 (ESV).

Verse 8: When the most high gave to the nation’s their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples ( someone tell Joe Biden the importance of borders) according to the number of the sons of God. But the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.

Deuteronomy 32: 8-9 describes how the break up of the nations at Babel resulted in his ‘disinheriting’ those nations as his people. For clearer understanding of this subject refer to Romans 1: 18- 25, where God gave humankind over to their constant rebellion. The statement in Deuteronomy 32:9 that the Lord’s ( YHWH’S) portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage reveals to us that a difference in affection and ownership is intended. YHWH decided that that the people of the World’s nations were no longer going to be in relationship to him. He started over. He would enter into a covenant relationship with a new people that didn’t yet exist: Israel .

Friends, I hope you are piecing this together. Study psalm 82 in it’s entirety. You will learn that the (*lower elohim) mentioned (*God’s council in heaven) are being chastised for their failure in leading all nations but *Israel.( * Gods inheritance)

Bring yourself up through history and study the nation of Israel. They have been dispersed across the land until 1947 when they became a nation again. God will not be mocked. You have to ask yourself why we have all the turmoil, deception, disruption, destruction and death in our world. It’s really because there is nothing new under the sun. We must keep our eyes on Israel because “As goes Israel goes the world.”

Food for thought: If the world wasn’t in such sad shape, I would consider it comical that God only needs the little sliver of land known as Israel to direct the world from. Now you know why things are as troubling as they are. It’s because most of the world stands against Israel and unfortunately or fortunately, the United States is her sister. America will be judged by her supporting or not supporting Israel. Frankie The Earthman.
