THE NAME ( ha- shem

Often used by many Jews ” the name” ha-shem in place of the divine name,YHWH, ( WITH VOWELS ADDED YAHWEH, pronounced Yahveh)

Have we been taught so well? Is God love, love, love which is often the only attribute of God acknowledged by many and incorrectly so, ie: Isaiah 30:27-28? Look! The name of Yahweh comes from afar, burning with his anger and heaviness of cloud. His lips are full of indignation, and his tongue is like a devouring fire. And his breath is like an overflowing river. It reaches up to the neck. Note: The name is presented as an entity, as Yahweh himself, in this text. In Psalm 20:1, 7 please read, where a gentler Yahweh is revealed: May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of Jacob’s God protect you. Some boast in chariots and others and horses, but we boast in the name of Yahweh our God.

When reading the Word of God, pray first, be still, and always open to learning what might have ‘not been taught in your studies by the traditions of men. It is easy to be led astray. Pray for the discernment of the Holy Spirit to be your only guide. This can be difficult as there are so many distractions, and so many voices to be heard in our culture, media, ( The world, the flesh, and the devil), and political circumstances.
