It’s no wonder, humankind used to believe the earth was flat.

Is the earth appearing flat, the ultimate illusion? Can we go to the southernmost point on the globe; the ‘bottom’, and look ‘down’? No, we cannot. The curvature of the earth is so slight and subtle, that no matter where you stand, you are looking up. Frankie The Earthman.
