A study in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, in continent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Seems to me, if human beings had just two or three of the above-mentioned attributes, they would be dangerous people.
As I read 2nd Timothy 3, many political figures and names came to mind.
Lovers of their selves. To me, this speaks generally of the Democrat party and partially to the Republicans. What is the psychology evident in people that get elected to office? Sometimes, I think these elected officials think that because they have outsmarted or duped the public into electing them to office; these same feel entitled to always have their hand in the cookie jar. They also feel that they are the ones entitled to stand at the end of the rainbow and collect all the gold.
Boasters, proud, blasphemers: Hollywood, the media in general, *elected officials, ( *abusing the fact that they can get elected and re elected many times, get filthy rich, and then wave goodbye.)
Disobedient to parents, unfaithful, unholy. This one is very easy. There has been a natural decline and falling away since those in power at ‘the’ time, decided to kick God out of the classroom, out of our education system, back in the sixties. Seems to me that people ought to understand that if we disrespect God, we are going to disrespect our parents; as both represent authority. I believe what happened in the sixties, is the root cause of the spirit of lawlessness and chaos that we have now in our school system; consequently, spilling over to the crime in most of our major cities. There is little faithfulness to ‘absolute truth’ and to God, many are truly inclined to be unholy.
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. OK, without natural affection: It seems to me as I reflect on the love shown to me in my youth and childhood; that the natural affection families used to have for each other, is all but dead. Don’t get me wrong love still exists but the “nuclear family” has been under a deadly attack and there is a lot of fallout. We don’t have to look too hard or too deep into our political system to find the trucebreakers. The history of the United States is loaded with them. On the attribute of being a false accuser : The treatment of Donald Trump, before, during, and after his four years in office is appalling. If you recall everything that went wrong, Trump was blamed for it, his family was blamed for it. Look at the recent FBI and Department of Justice invasion of Trump’s personal property and life. This was uncalled for, unnecessary, and evil. Look at the millions of dollars spent on investigating the January 6th Capital riot debacle. When I think of incontinence I think of Jerry Nadler, reportedly pooping in his pants, as he stood at the podium in the Senate one day. I also think of Congressman Swalwell farting and it echoing down the halls of Congress for all to hear and smell. Congressman Swalwell, seems to me, like the type of person that would take a dirty shit-filled diaper and throw it up against the wall just to see if it would stick. I can’t stand Swalwell, the arrogant prick. Finally, Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the House is the epitome of fierceness. Remember when she stood behind Donald Trump and tore up his speech, and the nasty look that was on her face. Her countenance was fierce.
“Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of self more than lovers of God. When I think of these attributes, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris, are my top examples. Here we have our traitors, they make people sick every time they open their mouths to speak. Joe Biden is the biggest liar that walks around in flesh, blood, and bone. I don’t know where to begin with Kamala Harris, she is just the “sorriest excuse for a human being” and a complete fraud. Barack Obama is just pathetic. To me, he is a son of Satan.
