Question #7– Did God create evil, or is God himself evil? : Answer : There is a prevalent school of thought among humanity that God created evil or that He is evil. Scripture says otherwise: God created the person who would ‘become’ the devil. Regarding God, the Bible says: Perfect is his activity, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice; righteous and upright is he. We can learn and conclude that Satan the Devil was at one time perfect and righteous, namely, one of God’s angelic sons. In John 8:44, Jesus said that the devil did not stand fast in the truth, implying that Satan had at one time been truthful and guiltless.
Satan was once a loyal spirit creature. Satan was once part of God’s organization in the heavens. Ezekiel 28:13 explains Satan’s fall. Satan, as an angel of God, could easily roam the earth and appear to Eve in the garden of Eden. The book of job provides insight into Satan’s activity. Satan once roamed about in the spirit world at will, including entering directly before God alongside the faithful angels, read Job 1:6 – 19 and job 2:7. There is only one question for this post.
