JESUS CAME TO BRING PEACE OR DIVISION?

THE ANSWER MIGHT surprise you.

Luke: 12:49-53 — Introduction via Luke 12:51- I am come = I became present, as in Acts 21:18 to give peace. This was the object of His coming ( Isaiah 9: 6,7) : but the effect of His presence would bring war. He came not to judge ( John 12: 47) as to this object but the effect of His coming was judgment ( John 9: 39)

Let’s study: Luke 12: 49 and on. “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! Do you think that I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on, there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother–in-law against daughter–in- law, and daughter- in- law against mother in law.“

Note: Had the nation received Him, (Jesus) all that the prophets had spoken would have been fulfilled, so would it have been had Peter’s proclamation been received. ( Acts 3. 18- 26)

Comment: ( I speak jokingly) I thought Jesus was all lovey dovey, everything can be wonderful? I thought Jesus was all about love, “if you only knew” Many don’t know the truth about the dual nature of God as Jesus, because they don’t study, they don’t really care, because they’re busy staring at their phone, a nation of hypnotized zombies ( for the most part ), let me tell you something, once you free yourself from the ‘ball and chain’ that is your phone, you can find more peace in God’s word than you would ever imagine, but most people are so lazy and apathetic. Most are sleeping, and they have no idea what evil is coming for them, I refer to the Tribulation Period ( Daniel’s 70th week). Someone said, ” Life is short, eternity is forever.”

Here is some truth most will not know or care about. If you are a believer, the Holy Spirit is a warm comforter. If you are a non-believer, the Holy Spirit is and will be a *”consuming fire.” * Convicting your conscious while you are on earth, and your judge at The Great White Throne Judgment, which is for unbelievers at the end of Christ’s “One Thousand Year Reign” from the coming New Holy City in Jerusalem.

Friends, don’t be duped, don’t perish when a loving God wants you to WOKE UP to Him. (smirk)

So, you might be asking yourself why does God choose to operate this way? ( referring to His coming to bring division), I will tell you why ( IMHO): This world ‘in its fallen state’ is not God’s kingdom. Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world. Although Satan has been defeated, this world in its present state is ruled by *Satan. ( *Prince of The Power of The Air) Jesus essentially came to divide. In short, He is calling for people to be either for Him or against Him; to choose life in Him, or death in Satan. YOUR ETERNITY IS ON THE LINE, CHOOSE WELL, BE LIKE A LAWYER WITH A SINCERE HEART AND SEARCH THE EVIDENCE, THE SCRIPTURES, OH, don’t shoot me, I’m just playing the piano. Frankie The Earthman.
