Why is God so hated by so many? Do/can any of us see Him for what He truly is? Let’s look at Him with spiritual eyes. However, I’ll remind you that you or no one else can truly see Him with your natural mind. As the scriptures say, you must be Born Again and the Holy Spirit must reveal Jeshua to you. Efforts in and of the flesh are futile in knowing Him. Briefly think ‘on this’: Jesus the creator of earth and the whole universe by literally speaking it into existence, ( Who Could have called a legion of angels to help him and rescue him, “opened not his mouth,” during his horrible beatings and crucifixion.) Some of you may ask, why did He do this? Well, in my humble opinion and scripture supports it; He did it out of pure love for you and me, and all answering the call to His Salvation. He did it to rescue us from death and an eternity without God, to give us life eternally with Him.
So let’s look at Revelation 7: 9 – 10, a Multitude of Martyrs. Some will be saved during the coming Tribulation Period. Remember that the Rapture has happened, and believers at that time have been caught up to be with Jesus and prepared to join Him for His second coming.
We join the apostle John at this scene in his vision: After these things I looked and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, people’s, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clorhed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelation 7 : 9 – 10.
This great multitude of martyred tribulation believers is made up of both Jews and Gentiles. Those hostile to God killed them. They went from hell on earth to the throne room of heaven. Like the martyrs of chapter 6 they are calling out to the Lord. However the message of this group is not a petition for more judgment but praise for their salvation. Although the physical predicament of this multitude may be different from ours, our spiritual situation was exactly the same as theirs. We were all once destined for an eternity apart from God.Then, because of the sacrifice of Jesus, our eternal deaths became eternal life the prophet Isaiah dated it. So beautifully.
All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of is all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before it’s shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. ( Isaiah 53:6 -7). A true recognition of God’s love and our salvation will lead to worship. It’s impossible for it not to. THIS IS THE GOD THAT HAS CAPTIRED MY HEART. ALSO THIS CAPTURING OF ME DOES NOT MAKE THINGS EASY. THE WAR RAGES WITHIN ME CONSTANTLY, THE OLD MAN VERSUS THE NEW MAN, You, reader may not know it or understand it, but sometimes it can be hell.
