It’s all too much sometimes, Lord. Living in this ‘end of the age period‘. I just need to say my profession of faith. Lord, I believe that you are who you say you are. I believe that you ( Jeshua) are part of the Godhead and that you prexisted. I believe you spoke the world into existence. Due to Satan’s rebellion and his fall from grace; I believe there has been an ongoing struggle between good and evil in ages past and this current age. The struggle was complicated and advanced through Satan duping Eve and Adam and causing the fall of man. I believe that you came into your own creation to save it. You’ re created beings rejected you, even though the ancient prophecies about You were clear enough. You came as 100% God and man. For the sake of mankind you laid aside your powers as God. You willingly went to the rugged cross, when you could have called a legion of angels to save you. But out of your love for mankind you endured the cross. You provided an opportunity for all men to be saved. Yes,
it’s all too much sometimes. I understand the plan of salvation yet, I still question my salvation. I have many friends and family that don’t believe in you, Lord. This is very discouraging and troubling. But I realize that I have no saving power and that it is the work of the Holy Spirit. So Lord, please help me live out the days you have on my calendar. Whether I live or die doesn’t seem so important anymore. I need to stay around for my family which includes our dog. Yes, it’s all too much sometimes; things like The Rapture, the coming Armegeddon, possibly being “left behind.” There is the hope of not having to go through the tribulation. There is the hope of eternity with you. “Sometimes” I wish I was just THICK AS A BRICK, staring out the window of some Asylum. O and people: “People can be so cold, they’ll hurt you and desert you, they’ll take your soul if you let them, oh no, but don’t you let them”… Carole King, then James Taylor, my favorite version.

Staying around for.
Staying around for.
